To many of us have passed not for those of us still here to make our lives matter in some way. Merle and I Laughed every single day, even when we hated being at work, we still laughed out loud and ment it, that was the impact she had on me.
Merle~
I will take my memories of you in to the next life, and on some level I understand the need to believe in after life, because thinking of not ever seeing you again is very painfull. I love you Misses.

Merle -
thank you for your real, intelligent, open and witty self - you were a Kick !
I so appreciated your honesty and wonderful laugh. You added a special quality to our nights. I could feel your tough love radiating out from your beautiful smile. I wish life had been easier for you. Perhaps you can rest more peacefully knowing that many of us felt your shining spirit even in your final moments with us. Bless you dear angel in black!

Goodbye

Merle, I can't believe that you have gone. It is hard to imagine that such fire can be extinguished. I will never forget that you are the only person who sent me a rose award as a manager! You had such heart underneath that tough exterior. I could always count on you for a smile and a joke. You survived such adversity with strength and spirit. You were inspiring that way. Be at peace my friend. I will miss you.

Merle--A Great Lady and a Great Friend

Merle was a sassy, intelligent woman with a lot of common sense and a heart of gold. She overcame a lot of adversity in her life, and I loved her for that. Her bold and brash ways and her terrific sense of humor were a joy to witness. I loved working with her, I loved joking around with her. I loved her Red Hots! I loved her statuesque figure and her "shoot from the hip" style. She was an absolute kick in the pants and a terrific lady.

Merle, how can you be gone? You gave me so much...a shoulder to cry on during my divorce, a friend to lean on during my surgery and recovery. I can't quite grasp that you are gone. I was sure that you would outlive me through sheer strength of personality. I will miss you more than I can say.
